I DREAM OF ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!

I am daydreaming of a huge waffle cone from Cold Stone Creamery! I am having a hell of a day and I can use a sweet escape. Dishes, laundry, sweeping, mopping, dusting, changing bed linens, and cleaning bathrooms! Trying to keep the kids entertained and content is a chore in itself. Uggghhhh! Forget Calgon, Cold Stone take me away!!!  :)

MORE SENSELESS KILLING

My children and I were talking this morning about how Levi Aron abducted and killed 8 year old Leibby Kletzky. It's such a shame how our children are dying younger and younger as each year rolls by. Parents we must sit down at the family table and discuss outside safety with our children again. I had this discussion with mine this morning. I mainly focused on reaching my 8 year old and my 13 year old. The younger ones have a tendency of not always being where they say they are going. They will go to the destination they are scheduled to be at but then leave there and go to another friend's house without calling and checking in with me first. It really got my 8 year old son's attention being that Leibby was only 8 years old as well. I know one thing, these sick people who are doing all this crazy stuff to innocent children really need JESUS. Pray for our children and the sick people who are out to harm them. Talk to your children and do a refresher on safety outside. They must learn to always be aware of their surroundings and to stay alert at all times. As parents we must stay on our post as well to double check on them and be sure they are where they say they are. I get on the phone and speak with the mother of that child they are having a play date with to be sure she was expecting my child. We all know sometimes kids make their own plans and the parents are left in the dark until the child arrives at their front door. Let your child know the importance of always being honest about where he/or she is going and to check in with you if anything changes. Have a wonderful day!

God bless! :)
